FASCIAS & SOFFITS
What are Fascias and Soffits?

A Fascia is the front facing surface of trim on a house above the soffit but below the roofline. Exterior horizontal visible flat front trim board that caps the rafter tail ends and runs horizontally across the ends of the roof rafters ends, creating the “edge” of the roof.
For the last century, the vast majority of properties built in the UK have been designed and structured with Fascias boards (that join the gutter to the wall) and soffits (the flat board below the fascia) in mind, so most properties simply need a fascia.

UPVc Roofline products versus traditional Wood.
Which is the best?
As we all know, wood is a porous material. Once water has breached the outer layer, it is a matter of when and not if it will need replacing. This then paves the way for woodworm and many other vermin to set up home ultimately causing structural damage. UPVc rooflines will not rot, will never need painting, do not discolour and will remain maintenance free for up to 40 years. All they will require is the occasional clean with warm soapy water.
UPVc is one of the most popular choices in the UK today with 85% of buildings benefiting from this cost effective, highly durable, environmentally friendly, safe, secure and robust product. It is now widely recognised that the maintenance burden and the technical performance of timber, especially for roofline, is no longer acceptable when compared with UPVc.

Is UPVc environmentally friendly?

UPVc is 100% recyclable and may be reused up to 10 times and more. It stands the test of time, therefore has less impact on the environment and because it requires less maintenance is far more carbon efficient as well!

UPVc Cladding

Cladding, often regarded as one of the most efficient ways to completely transform, renovate and modernise homes, is available in 3 different styles (including embossed woodgrain effect) and 5 different colours, all covered by our 10 year guarantee.

UPVc cladding is an ideal substitute for traditional timber cladding, with the added advantage of all the low maintenance benefits, weatherability and durability you would associate with UPVc. It can also help to substantially improve your properties insulation.

What colours options are available for both fascias & soffits?

Our fascias and soffits are available in a variety of different colours including: White, Cream, Antique Oak, Rosewood, Black & Brown.
